Perception

Rationality is abstraction, because rationality gives boundaries. Perception of perspective is a way for us to express infinity, when in reality we are putting limits to it. The mind projects a grid, yet there is a dimension that the grid cannot capture. Man has to have boundaries; a collision of pathos and ethos, emotion and intellect. Abstraction is the art of taking away. Measurement is a tool of abstraction for it puts limits on infinite space. It takes from infinity and restricts it within the bounds of a meter or a yard. Whatever we see is a mirror of ourselves.
